What we do
Senior Housing
Ebenezer provides housing and support services for seniors, including independent, assisted living and memory care senior communities in Minnesota. Sites offer a range of services such as meals, transportation and recreational activities, assistance with housekeeping and laundry, social services and short-term rehabilitation following surgery. Ebenezer Management Services also manages a broad portfolio of senior properties in the Twin City metro area and greater Minnesota.
Adult Day Programs
Our adult day programs provide services for older adults who live at home or with family and would benefit from assistance with health care supervision during the day while caregivers are at work or are in need of a break. Our programs include nutritious meals; a daily schedule of activities that encourage life long learning; an atmosphere of social enrichment; and a circle of new friends.
Intergenerational Day Program
The intergenerational day program in Burnsville combines adult day and child day care to bring together the youngest and oldest members of our community and their families in a way that meets their needs in a unique way. Young and old gather daily to share activities, have fun and form meaningful relationships.
Home and Community-Based Services
From senior companion programs to home health services, Ebenezer and Fairview offer a range of coordinated services. For those living at home, in a long-term care center or assisted living community, health care can be arranged to meet your needs.
Long- and Short- term Health Care Sites
Ebenezer’s long-term care centers provide a safe and highly supportive environment where residents can be as independent as possible. We work closely with residents and their families to develop a care plan tailored to best meet their needs.
We also provide transitional care, or short-term skilled nursing care, for those recovering from an injury or illness. These specialized units are designed to help patients get the rehabilitation and extra support they need to meet their care goals and return to their homes.
The Ebenezer Foundation
Ebenezer’s foundation provides an opportunity to leave a living legacy of compassion for our communities’ seniors. Charitable contributions from supporters provide programs and services that enhance the lives of more than 3,000 seniors every day.

Who we are
Ebenezer, which means “stone of help,” was founded in 1917 by Minneapolis Lutherans who were concerned about caring for homeless older adults. Since 1917, Ebenezer has provided compassionate, community-centered care for older adults and others in need. As partners since 1995 with Fairview Health Services, we offer the combined resources and expertise of the best in senior services and health care.
Building on our Lutheran heritage, we…
-
Respond to the physical, psychological, social and spiritual dimensions of the whole person
-
Welcome persons of diverse cultures and faith traditions
-
Practice responsible stewardship of human, property and financial resources
-
Encourage continuing learning and innovation
-
Strive for excellence
