Wildwood Manor is a unique retirement setting that provides spacious, safe, clean and affordable housing. It is designed for elderly and handicapped persons who seek a secure, low maintenance lifestyle.

The three-story building contains 40 units of subsidized housing.

Location:
Wildwood Manor is located in Mounds View, Minnesota, in a wooded  residential neighborhood, with easy access to shopping, health care, transportation, entertainment and volunteer opportunities.

Unity Medical Center is three miles away, providing in-patient and out-patient health care, a multi-specialty physician clinic and a skilled care nursing home.

A public library is just next door, easily within walking distance. A drug store, fabric shop, video store, restaurant and a number of other businesses are located in Mounds View Square, just across Highway 10. A large shopping mall is within three miles.

Wildwood Manor is owned and operated by Wildwood Manor, a tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Management is provided by Ebenezer, which has provided quality adult services for 90 years.

Independent Living:
A person may be considered capable of independent living if he/she is able to manage his/her own affairs or self-acquired services, and handle the activities of daily living.

Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for residency, you must be at least 62 years of age or need a wheelchair accessible apartment, and meet the income requirements.

The facility is financed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and includes a rent subsidy program. Tenants pay 30 percent of their adjusted gross income for rent, and the Federal Government pays the remainder.

To determine if you qualify:
Annual gross income (social security, pension, wages, etc.) cannot exceed:
$27,500  for 1 person
$31,400 for 2 persons

Application:
Applications are accepted on a continuing basis. Eligible applicants are placed on the waiting list as they are received. An eligibility verification interview is required prior to final acceptance.
