Surprisingly Affordable  
Pioneer Manor Apartments are very affordable for residents who meet certain residential and income requirements set by the City of White Bear Lake. You may be eligible to live at Pioneer Manor Apartments if:

• You are age 62 or older (others may be allowed to live with the senior resident, i.e. caregiver, dependent son or daughter), AND
• Your annual income does not exceed

1-person: $35,280
2-persons: $40,320 

The current income limits for one- and two-person households are based on 60 percent of median income for Ramsey County.

Pioneer Manor features 26 1-bedroom; six 2-bedroom and 10 2-bedroom corner apartments. Rent includes heat, air-conditioning, water, sewer and trash service. Pioneer Manor Apartments offers independent living with no personal care or nursing services.

White Bear Lake Residency
Applicants who have good rental and credit references will also be asked to meet one of the following criteria:

• Currrent resident of White Bear Lake School District (for 1 year prior to application)
• Family member(s) (defined as a son, daughter, grandchild, brother or sister) residing in the school district
• Previous resident (for at least one full year) in the school district

Waiting List
Pioneer Manor maintains a waiting list of eligible applicants. Applicants on the waiting list for a vacancy will be offered the next available unit until it is filled. A current City of White Bear Lake income- and program-qualified resident who is displaced by public acquisition of his or her property will be given first priority when a vacancy occurs. This priority is offered during a period 60 days prior to and 150 days after property acquisition.
